We supply Tilting Disc Check Valves (self-acting) engineered for fast response and low water-hammer risk in oil, gas, and petrochemical utility and process networks. Unlike conventional swing check valves, the tilting-disc design pivots on an offset shaft, allowing the disc to open fully with minimal flow resistance and to close quickly before reverse flow develops. This results in smoother operation, reduced slam, and improved protection for pumps, compressors, and large-diameter pipelines. Tilting check valves are commonly specified for cooling water, fire water, seawater, and other high-flow services where reliability and long service life are required.
